Academy of the Redwoods

Are You Interested In Returning To On-Campus Learning? We would like to encourage all students, especially those who are struggling academically, to return to on-campus learning. Breakfast and lunch are available free to all students daily.  If you would like to arrange one or more on-campus learning days per week, please email Academic Counselor, Brooke Martin at bmartin@fuhsdistrict.net. We continue to require morning health screenings, mask-wearing, and regular hand washing/sanitizing. With our physical distancing requirements, we can accommodate all students for two days per week with some exceptions. For questions related to COVID mitigations or other campus concerns, please contact Program Director, Ali Hodges by calling the AR Office, 707-476-4203.

AR's Vision

Mission Statement:

Academy of the Redwoods, Early College High School, uses the power of place, an inclusive community, and a supportive environment to inspire and empower a wide spectrum of motivated students. Through a transformative program that incorporates rigorous high school curriculum with college immersion, we prepare all individuals to become contributing members of an ever-changing society.

Vision Statement:

As an early college high school, AR will continue to support all students in their journey as they complete a rigorous high school program while also completing college coursework.  Founded on the values of Respect, Responsibility, and Choice AR encourages students to stay on their TOES* to grow, challenge, and adapt to our ever changing environment with the support of the entire AR community.

Motto:

Respect, Responsibility, Choice

Student Learning Outcome Guidelines:

*TOES - Time Management, Organization, Engagement, and Study skills

These essential skills and qualities are the foundation of what students need to be successful. In order to keep their lives in balance and provide them with support and stability the AR community knows we need TOES as a foundation.
