-The CR Outreach Team is looking for AR volunteers!!!! The "I've Been Admitted to College" or IBAC event is an important opportunity to reach out to 7th graders across the county. Some of these students may not believe college is in their future or have never considered the benefits of higher education. Over a period of 3 Fridays, different schools attend the event and students receive a campus tour, an opportunity to hear a lecture from a CR Instructor along with other fun activities. AR volunteers receive training prior to the event and are eligible to receive community service credit for any time served that would not have been regularly scheduled AR class time. In order to be eligible to participate in this event, and miss 3 Fridays of AR classes you must have all C's or better by our next grading period (Feb 24th) and be in good standing in terms of attendance and behavior. The IBAC event dates are Fridays March 10, 24 and April 7th. If you think you might be interested, or sure you would like to sign up, please complete the following form.
