Academy of the Redwoods

Are You Interested In Returning To On-Campus Learning? We would like to encourage all students, especially those who are struggling academically, to return to on-campus learning. Breakfast and lunch are available free to all students daily.  If you would like to arrange one or more on-campus learning days per week, please email Academic Counselor, Brooke Martin at bmartin@fuhsdistrict.net. We continue to require morning health screenings, mask-wearing, and regular hand washing/sanitizing. With our physical distancing requirements, we can accommodate all students for two days per week with some exceptions. For questions related to COVID mitigations or other campus concerns, please contact Program Director, Ali Hodges by calling the AR Office, 707-476-4203.

October Student of the Month: Thomas Zagoria

Thomas Zagoria is the son of Elizabeth Carlyle and Scott Zagoria. In his free time he enjoys reading (mostly history) and playing soccer. Tom has always dreamed of attending Oxford University, but if that doesn’t work out, he is looking optimistically at Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, University of Chicago, and Berkeley. He hopes to study History and Political Science. Though unsure of his post-college plans, he lists work in academics or politics as possible options. Tom says, “My experience at Academy of the Redwoods has been wonderful. It is an extremely welcoming community, with great teachers and staff (and free college classes also help).” Tom has earned 40 college units so far, and is taking another 10 units this semester.

We're proud of you Tom!
