Academy of the Redwoods

Are You Interested In Returning To On-Campus Learning? We would like to encourage all students, especially those who are struggling academically, to return to on-campus learning. Breakfast and lunch are available free to all students daily.  If you would like to arrange one or more on-campus learning days per week, please email Academic Counselor, Brooke Martin at bmartin@fuhsdistrict.net. We continue to require morning health screenings, mask-wearing, and regular hand washing/sanitizing. With our physical distancing requirements, we can accommodate all students for two days per week with some exceptions. For questions related to COVID mitigations or other campus concerns, please contact Program Director, Ali Hodges by calling the AR Office, 707-476-4203.

September Student of the Month: Kili Saveliff

Congratulations to AR's September Student of the Month: Kili Saveliff!

Kili Saveliff is the daughter of John and Teri Saveliff. In her free time, Kili enjoys practicing the ukulele, drawing, writing and browsing the internet. Killi's plan is to earn a Bachelors degree in Math from Humboldt State University. After college she hopes to become a math teacher at a local school. Kili says, "My experience at AR has been wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better high school. The teachers are all amazing and really care about what they do, and that shines through. The staff is kind and friendly, and my peers are amazing and considerate. The whole experience here is amazing and I’m glad that I decided to be a part of AR’s community." Kili has completed 39 college units so far. Way to go Kili!
