MLK Jr. Day: Honor the man through service on this day off of classes. 5 Ways to do good for MLK Day
Spring Room Changes: As always we have some room changes as CR returns to instruction. Please check the most recent schedule available on the AR website, the attendance office, and the SSC for any and all changes which will be in bold.
Attention Students: The FM building (the one to the South of the Humanities and Science building that is built out over the bluff) is condemned for educational purposes. While there are a few offices, the food pantry, and the Public Safety station, the FM building is OFF LIMITS to AR students. There is no reason for AR students to use that building unless they are directly interacting with Public Safety.
Remember that AR students are to remain within line of sight at all times. CR Public Safety has the important role of keeping campus safe, they should not be wasting time figuring out whether or not AR students are in the wrong place or not. They keep a special eye out for AR students and overall have lots of positive things to say about AR. Let's not abuse this relationship by straining their resources. If you are unsure about whether or not you can be in a certain place on campus during the school day, ask Principal King or a veteran teacher.
Campus Behavior: The CR campus will be getting busier and busier starting this week as construction on the new CA building begins on the old baseball field. There will be large trucks all along the road going up behind the gym, so make sure you check before you cross! Next week CR students and faculty will be back in full swing so remember to represent AR with a smile and by being good hosts! You know this campus better than they do, so stay on your TOES and model “Respect, Responsibility, Choice”
Spring Semester TRiO Schedule: TRiO students, please click the announcement title to access your spring semester TRiO schedule. This will also be posted in your "Class of" Google Classrooms and has been posted outside of the attendance office for reference. TRiO will continue to meet in SC 210 in the spring semester during Tier period from 12:15-1:05pm.
Last Day to Register for CR Classes: The last day to register for a CR class is Friday, January 14th! If you haven't already registered for a class and would like or need to, January 14th is the last day to do so. After registering for at least one class, the last day to make CR schedule changes is January 21st.
Last day to Drop without a W: The last day to drop a CR class without receiving a "W" on your transcript is January 28th. After January 28th, you can still drop the class up until April 1st, however you will receive a "W" on your transcript.
Hey Musicians of AR: We are currently thinking about starting up a Music Club for this semester and were wondering about how many students would be interested in joining. We are planning on meeting every other Friday after school. Our goal with this club is to hopefully create a band/multiple bands of students that can play at school assemblies and events such as Friday Hangouts. If you would like to hang out with like minded students and play music, fill out the form below and let us know!
If you have any questions, please email Laken at firstname.lastname@example.org
