HUMANS OF AR:

Based on Humans of New York, our 3rd and 4th-year students have created "Humans of AR!”

Thank you to the Redwood Writing Project and National Writing Project for giving our students this opportunity!!

COVID-19:

-Thank you AR students for filling out the Covid-19 vaccine survey. The results have been very helpful and we had a 72% response rate!

  • 70% of AR students are vaccinated, 5% are partially vaccinated, and 9% of respondents plan on getting vaccinated within the next three months, putting us at 84% by next semester. An additional 12% of respondents answered "maybe" to whether or not they would get the vaccine in the next three months.

-Only 2 students may sit distanced per table in the SSC during lunch.

-Any unvaccinated students who are identified as close contacts in a Covid exposure may not participate in any extracurricular activities such as clubs or sports for the duration of your quarantine. (Decision upheld by FUHSD Board 9/8/21)

-Masks must be worn at all times on campus (this includes outside) by everyone regardless of vaccination status. Mask wearing will be enforced.

-In PE only, students can choose whether or not to wear a mask while running laps. Mr. Van Dyke has final discretion on all masking parameters during higher intensity activities in PE.

-AR students who can log in to the CR App should finish the app health screening before they arrive for classes. First-years, non-CR students, and students who do not have a smartphone must find a health screener on campus to get a temperature check and a colored wristband before arriving at class.

-White wristbands will be issued to vaccinated students (if they wish to attest vaccination status), and the following colors will convey successful health screening on the following days:

Monday - Blue

Tuesday - Orange

Wednesday - Red

Thursday - Yellow

Friday - Green

-Wristbands must be worn on your wrist to be valid.

-Outside of school Covid exposures must be reported to Mr. King and students must stay home awaiting instruction from public health. In-school exposures will follow HCOE guidelines.
